Australia has the longest lychee production season in the world producing fruit from late October to late March. Lychee growing regions in Australia stretches from tropical Far North Queensland to NSW South Coast (including Sydney).

Lychee is native to Southern China, grows to a height of 3-4 metres (but can be pruned down to 2 metres). They are a handsome, dense rounded tree that can produce luscious fruits in as little as 3-4 years.
